Quilting process

You can come to my home or we can meet at a convenient location to you. If not able to meet face to face you can mail me your quilt. Your quilt top should be trimmed of excess threads on the back to prevent them from showing through once quilted and ironed. Your backing should be 10 inches longer and wider then your top. If you piece your backing the threads should be trimmed, ironed and the back squared to put on the frame. I have batting available at retail prices. I prefer to use Quilter’s Dream batting as it is soft, durable, resist shrinking and quilts beautifully. If you prefer to bring your own batting I can use it as long as it does not pull apart or is low end cotton which has chips in it.
